Composer Talk & Live Music: Daniel Pesca, Eastman School of Music

Daniel Pesca is a dynamic composer and pianist known for his colorful imagination and deep passion for collaboration. His original works have been supported by the NEA and New Music USA, and performed internationally.

As a pianist, Daniel has premiered over 150 works, is a founding member of the Grossman Ensemble, co-directs the Zohn Collective, and has appeared on over a dozen recordings, including his solo album, Promontory. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Composition at the Eastman School of Music.

At this event, Daniel Pesca will share a brief talk about his composition and music. Members from the GG Orchestra will perform a few pieces of chamber music by select contemporary composers.

Light refreshments will be provided.
